The founder, head and the leading surgeon of the clinic – Irina S. Fedorova, M.D. is a daughter and the follower of internationally renowned ophthalmologist, Svjatoslav Fedorov, M.D. She obtained international medical diploma in Italy in 1995. She is a member of the Italian Award of Physicians and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Doctor Fedorova is one of the founders of methods of surgical correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. On numerous times she has been invited to different countries to give talks and to carry out unique operations for cataract, glaucoma and refractive errors. From 1989 she worked in eye clinics in Italy for years. From 1999 to 2002 she was a Surgeon-In-Chief at The Research Center of Laser Ophthalmology "ARTOKS" in Moscow, Russia.
